Jim Gill

Consulting Agronomist


After finishing his degree in Plant Pathology from the University of Minnesota, Jim started his career working for co-ops before embarking on his own adventure and starting Gill Ag Consulting in 1984. Passionate about providing accurate, factual, and creative advice, Jim has consistently helped his clients in Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Dakotas achieve record-high yields year-in and year-out.

Danny Gill

Research agronomist


Danny has grown up with a soil probe and a sweep net in his hand. Having first learned the ropes from his dad Jim, Danny developed an interest in agriculture that saw him graduate from Iowa State University with degrees in Biology and Environment Science. He continued his education at North Dakota State University, and will soon graduate with a Masters of Plant Pathology. Danny’s research focus is on the management of potato early die disease complex.
